A very easy pattern. Cartridge stitch is basicly horizontal stripes of stocking stitch and reverse stocking stitch.
The scarf, cowl, hoodini, neck warmer (It’s all of these) takes 200 grams (Just 2 x 100 gram balls) of D.K. yarn. Perfect for using up some of the Stash! We used Stylecraft Luxury D.K. but it can be knit in just about any yarn as the concertina effect that Cartridge Stitch gives means the tension and weight don’t dictate. Although we wouldn’t recommend using a finer yarn than D.K. Certainly bulkier yarns would work just as well.
We love this ‘Hoodini’. In fact I’m wearing mine now as I type and I’m ‘chomping at the bit’ to design more!
