This pattern is available from knitpicks.com for $4.99.

This pattern was inspired by the design of a wheel on a farm gate. The shape, with the saddle shoulders and straight armholes, is one that would be found in most rural areas of the northern hemisphere. It is reminiscent of the smocks worn by agricultural workers in parts of Europe.

Cartwheels is worked flat from the bottom up with Double Moss Stitch texture and cables throughout. Saddle shoulders give it a special touch, with the cable design running all the way up to the neckband. Cable patterns are charted only.

Sample is 37.25” size; model is 31” chest.
