Cascading Cables Afghan
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
The extravagant look of this afghan is belied by how really simple it is to work. Selesnick has the wisdom to embolden the overall cable texture with an alpaca boucle yarn: this deepens the multidimensional qualities while making it almost impossibly soft. This is one of those glorious projects that everyone covets as a gift (hence the wide size range), and belongs in every home. It’s a pleasure to work, too, since it knits up extremely quickly and turns into an improvised lap blanket as you go. You only cable every 18th row, so even relative beginners will triumph.
