Cashmere Queen Cowl
Want to stay in the loop on free pattern promos?
A classic skacel original pattern, the Cashmere Queen Cowl is a gorgeously textured, cozy accessory. It is constructed as a never-ending Möbius loop and is generously sized, so you can pull it down over your shoulders or scrunch it up close to skin for added warmth.
Featuring a fascinating combination of stitches, each changing with the (4) different colors of Cashmere Queen by Schoppel. This DK weight yarn is an exceptionally luxurious blend of merino, cashmere, and silk—for a fabric that blooms beautifully over time and is resistant to pilling, thanks to Schoppel’s patented pre-felting techniques.
Featuring a Moebius Cast-on, multiple stitch patterns, and a picot bind-off.

DESIGNER NOTES
- With Cat Bordhi’s Moebius Cast On, the number of stitches cast on is actually only half of the stitches over which the cowl is worked. Find her video here!
-
In Moebius knitting, two rings are worked to equal one round, so a round is not complete until the work returns to the marker, meaning two rings have been worked.
 -
Work will “grow” from the center outward, so as work progresses, there will be more and more rows between the needles/cables, and they will get further and further apart.
