Isn’t this a pretty bit of lace? A fanciful cables and lace scarf knit with openwork cables and twists and then lined with a soft laceweight mohair/silk. The lining shows through the lace patterning and allows the scarf to be reversible. It reminds me of castles and dreams.

I dreamed up this pattern a couple of years ago - literally! Wrote it, swatched it and then Covid hit and the pattern kind of got lost in the shuffle.

While tidying my desk a month or so ago I “found” the pattern. So it had to be knit!

Castle Dreams was knit with @fleeceartist_handmaiden
Merino Slim in Cliff, 100 grs and
Superkid Silk in Fire Opal, approx 25 grs

This pattern would be perfect for any Aura or Halo bundles you might have in your stash!
