Catalonia Shawl, as featured in the book Dreams, is a Faroese style shaped shawl with an Orenburg inspired border. Carefully placed decrease rows change the shape of the shawl from triangular to semi-circular. The border is worked first and the body stitches are picked up from a line of yarn overs. The center spine features an eight row mirrored rope cable and lace motif. Once completed, the shawl will almost be a full circle.
