Description from pattern
Catherine is the largest bear in the book. She is designed and made up in the same way as a traditional, old-style bear with fully jointed arms and legs and a humped back.

Calls for 8 oz. mohair yarn for bear (Kid classic) and 6 oz. fingering weight yarn for dress.

Gauge not given, knit in stockinette stitch throughout.

Additional Materials:

  • 1/2 inch (13.5 mm) safety eyes
  • polyester stuffing
  • black embroidery thread for mouth and claws
  • black or charcoal yarn to knit nose
  • 5 x 2-2.5” (50-55 mm) diameter plastic safety joins
  • 2 small buttons (for dress)
