Catkin Sweater
SIZE
For women’s garments: XS [S, M, L, 1X, 2X, 3X] (shown in size S)
This knitted baseball jersey is far from simple, although you can wear it as if it were bought off the rack… Sleeves, fronts and backs have different base color and yarns, and the front has an easy yet mesmerizing stripe pattern that not only has color contrast, but an interesting textural appeal as well, little knots resembling catkins on the branch. A great way to use up single skeins!
It’s knit flat, because of the different yarns. The catkins may look like bobbles, and as if it’s stranded knitting, but it’s one yarn color at the time, and no turning of your work and all that jazz…anyone can do it!
