Cavendish Hat & Wrist Warmers
A perfect quick-hook striped hat & mitts set. Double crochet for the main body of the items and front/back post treble “ribbed” cuffs.
Skills required: Working in rounds, foundation stitches, raised trebles.
The pattern makes a snug fitting beanie. For extra slouch, add more rounds after crown shaping.
Measurements:
Beanie:
Length from brim to top: 20 (21, 24, 25) cm.
Circumference: 48(54, 60, 66) cm.
Wrist Warmers:
Length from cuff to top: 14(14, 16, 18) cm.
Circumference: 15 (16, 18, 20) cm.
All sizes are measured flat after blocking.
Tension:
Work 15dc and 16 rounds to measure 10 x 10cm using 4.5mm hook, or size required to obtain tension.
Work 10rtfr and 10 rounds to measure 10 x 10cm using 4mm hook, or size required to obtain tension.
