Cayenne Throw
Pattern, texture, and color come together in this breezy gold and burgundy throw. Openwork panels and a treble crochet border frame a central field of diamonds that float between chain-stitch bridges.
Skill Level: Easy
Materials: Caron Simply Soft (100% Acrylic; 315 yards/288 meters/170 grams): 9782 gold (5 balls), 9762 burgundy (2 balls)
Hook: US size H/8 (5.0 mm)
Notions: Tapestry Needle
Pattern Notes: The throw’s center diamond panel is worked in rows, then a striped side panel is added to each long edge. A simple border is worked around all four side to complete the design.
