With its classic silhouette and modern geometric lace motif, Cedar Lake is an everyday wearable cardigan. Paired with jeans and a comfy shirt, it’s perfect for exploring lakefront beaches and wooded trails. Over a dress, it’s lovely for special outings and weekend trips to the city.

Cedar Lake features a top-down raglan construction, panels of totem pole lace, a mini shawl collar, and a single button closure at the neck. The body is knit flat, sleeves are worked in the round, and the button band and collar are picked up from the cardigan edges and knit last.

This pattern is suitable for advanced beginners. It features several techniques, including knitting in the round, short row shaping, lace knitting, and a modified lifted increase. The pattern includes a photo tutorial for the lifted increase as well as links to other helpful technique tutorials. The lace in this pattern is worked from charts.
