This shawl takes full advantage of short rows to create it’s curved shape. This shawl begins by casting on all the stitches and then using short rows to create the shape. It’s finished using a delicate lace edging.

2 skeins Bare Naked Wools Stone Soup DK, 80% wool, 15% alpaca, 5% tencel/bamboo/silk/bison, 4oz (115g), 300yds (274m), color, Granite
Needles & Notions
US size 8 (5mm) circular needle 47”(120cm) long
Adjust needle size as necessary to achieve gauge.
Stitch markers, tapestry needle, safety pins for Japanese Short Rows.
Gauge
16 stitches and 25 rows = 4” (10cm) in Stockinette Stitch after blocking.
Lace chart measures 5 3/4” (14.5cm) wide and 5” (12.5cm) deep.
