Céleste is the ultimate sweater for your winter! Warm but elegant, with a cosy amount of positive ease. The details as the lateral braids and the decreases at the end of the sleeves give it personality and character. The sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down in the round. The construction begins with the neckline then the yoke is shaped by some short rows and increases for the raglan. After knitting the yoke and separating the sleeves, the body is worked, from the armholes, in one piece. The sleeves are then taken back and worked in the round to the cuffs.

Finished bust circumference approximately 94 (100, 110, 120, 128) (136, 146, 154) cm / 37 (39 ½, 43 ¼, 47 ¼, 50 ½) (53 ½, 57 ½, 60 ½)”. Suggested ease: 10 to 20 cm/ 4” to 8” of positive ease (shown in size 3 with 15 cm/ 6” of positive ease at the bust).

Gauge: 20 sts & 28 rows for 4 inches/10 cm in stockinette stitch using the larger needles.

Yarn & notions: This sweater is knitted with two strands of yarn (a fingering weight and a lace weight held together) If you prefer you can use one strand of a DK weight yarn.

• 900 (950, 1050, 1100, 1250) (1380, 1490, 1600) m / 985 (1040, 1150, 1200, 1370) (1510, 1630, 1750) yards of each yarn or one strand of DK weight. Please keep in mind that yardage is an estimate.
• US 5 / 3. 75 mm and US 7 / 4.5 mm circular needles or size to obtain the correct gauge.
• Stitch markers for raglans, stitch holders or scrap yarn, tapestry needle.

Céleste est le pull parfait pour l’hiver. Chaud et confortable, son originalité réside dans les petits détails comme les tresses latérales ou le jeu de diminutions des manches. Il se tricote sans couture du haut vers le bas avec des augmentations régulières pour le raglan. La construction débute par l’encolure dont l’arrondi est façonné par des rangs raccourcis. Après avoir tricoté l’empiècement et réalisé la séparation des manches, le corps est travaillé, depuis les emmanchures, en une seule pièce. Les manches sont ensuite reprises et tricotées en rond avec un jeu de diminutions avant les poignets.

Aisance conseillée : 10 à 20 cm d’aisance positive (le modèle présenté est tricoté en taille 3 avec 15 cm d’aisance positive).

Laine et matériel :
Céleste se tricote avec un mélange de 2 fils (fingering et lace). Il est possible également d’utiliser un seul fil de laine de type DK.

• 900 (950, 1050, 1100, 1250) (1380, 1490, 1600) m de chaque fil ou un seul fil de laine de type DK. Attention, gardez à l’esprit que les métrages ne sont qu’une estimation.
• Aiguilles circulaires 3,75 mm pour les côtes et 4,5 mm pour le corps et les manches.
• Anneaux marqueurs, aiguille à laine, ramasse-mailles ou brin de laine afin de laisser les mailles en attente.
