These beautiful mitts feature a Celtic knot work style twisted stitch cable. The cables rise up out of the wristband, meander across the back of the hand then disappear back into the top cuff. This design is rated intermediate because it involves simple cabling, twisted stitch patterns and some simple thumb gusset shaping. The pattern is fully charted.

Size: Small (hands up to 8”) and Medium (hands 8-10”).

Finished Measurements: Small 7” and medium 8” circumference relaxed. The ribbing panels allow both sizes to stretch several inches wider to fit comfortably.

Sample shown in Knit Picks Capra DK yarn, color caviar. It takes two skeins to make one pair of mitts.

Skills Needed: Knitting in the round (using your method of choice magic loop or dpns), twisted stitches, cables, picking up stitches, working from a chart.
