When working Row 7, work around the post of the tr stitch 2 rows below, skipping the sc row just worked. The post cross stitches are worked over 4-sts. Skip the first 2 post stitches, work into the next 2 post sts (front). Then, come back and work into those 2 post stitches skipped into the back.

For Row 7, remember to work into the post stitches (except first 2 and last 2 crosses) that are worked into the hdc at the beginning and end of the row.

It can be confusing if you’re thinking of working into a BP or FP stitch. Instead, how I like to think about it is to work pairs of two post stitches. Consider using removable stitch markers to mark out stitch placements because, based on the yarn you’re using, it might be difficult to see where to place the hook.

I hope this helps. Take it one stitch at a time.
