Cera
Cera-hat is worked in the round from bottom up. The pattern gives you multiple options: fingering and worsted version, normal or sloped brim, single or double yarn over lace on the body and normal or lace crown. The pattern has only written instructions.
FINGERING VERSION:
Sizes
To fit head size 50-52, 54-56, 58-60 cm (20, 22, 24 inches).
Finished measurements
Brim finished circumference non stretched 35.5, 38, 40.5 cm/ 14, 15, 16 inches.
Height approximately 23 cm/ 9 inches.
Yarn
50 g of fingering weight yarn, app. 384 m (420 yds) per 100 g. The sample (red hat) was knitted with Malabrigo Mechita in colourway Cereza (100% Merino), 384 m/ 420 yds per 100 g.
Needles & notions
2.75 mm/ US 2 and 3.25 mm/ US 3 (80 cm/ 32 inches or longer for magic loop) circular needle, or set of four DPNs or size to obtain gauge
markers, tapestry needle for weaving in ends
Gauge
30 sts x 42 rows = 10 x 10 cm/ 4 x 4 inches with bigger needles in k2, p2 ribbing after blocking.

100 g of worsted weight yarn, app. 210 m (230 yds) per 100 g. The sample (light grey) was knitted with Malabrigo Yarn Worsted in colourway Pearl (100% Merino), 192 m/ 210 yds per 100 g.
