An easy, faux i-cord edging is worked around the outside of each design to enclose the houndstooth stitches of the main body and add extra balance.

Along Avec Anna, Merino, 100% superwash merino (200m/219yds/50g).

Drops Kid Silk, 75% mohair, 25% silk (210m/230yd/25g). 1 ball in Powder (YB).

The patterns use sock weight yarn held with mohair but you can use any yarn weight you like. It looks great in sport weight or DK yarns without the fluff!

The main pattern is worked sideways, tip to tip, and the edging is then worked directly onto and around the main body in a continuous spiral.

Charts for each shawl are included. There are tables of stitch counts for the Shallow shawl & Skinny scarf to keep track of increases/decreases.
