Ceridwen
♫ The Music ♫
Ceridwen is an instrumental tune by Australian fantasy music composer Peter Gundry that flows from subtle to majestic. The intertwining melody expresses itself perfectly in knitted cables.
Pattern Notes
These toe-up socks have an interlaced diamond cable pattern on the instep and both front and back leg. The sole is worked in Stockinette stitch. The heel is turned using a short-row heel cap (which means no picking up stitches) and the heel flap is worked in a checkerboard slip-stitch pattern. The knitter needs to be able to read their knitting (identify knit and purl sts) to work the Jeny’s Surprisingly Stretchy Bind Off (written instructions included in the pattern).
The cable stitches are charted with written directions for the chart provided.
