The pattern is written to be worked with five different colors to showcase the CFC Yak DK collection, but it can be easily adjusted for fewer color changes. Rather than knitting each section 15” long as specified in the instructions, knit to the following lengths for each section depending on how many different colors of yarn you have to work with: 1 color: 75”, 2 colors: 38”, 3 colors: 25”, 4 colors: 18.5”.
