This is knit as a simple cable band first then joined and stitches are picked up along the edge to complete as a circular knit stockinnette cap. The band prevents excessive stretching and the Qiviut prevents irritation. Very lightweight and remarkably warm! The fingering weight yarn is used double stranded while the sport weight yarn can be used single stranded. You can use any yarn that matches the gauge. I hope you enjoy it!
