Doll is knit using Basic Doll pattern on page 18. Gauge given is for working doll body in stockinette stitch using US3 needles.

Additional Materials (doll):

• Scraps of black yarn or embroidery thread for face.
• Polyester fiberfill stuffing.

Materials for Outfit (sewn):

• Piece of thick khaki cotton or old pair of army pants - 1yd (100cm).
• Square red nylon felt - 8 3/4 x 8 3/4 in (22 x 22cm).
• Three hook and eyes.
• Sewing thread in black and red.
• Sewing needle and thread, straight pins, fabric scissors.
