Campiña Shawl (ENG)
(US terminology)

This is a crescent shaped shawl worked from the top down, starting at the centre of the top border, with a garter tab cast-on and then, growing to the sides and down. It´s made in 4 sections:
Section 1: Garter stitch,
Section 2: Estonian knitting pattern,
Section 3: Fantasy stitch with lace flowers,
Section 4: Zig zag lace edge and i-cord.
To knit this shawl, you need to know to perform a garter-tab cast-on, knit, purl, change colors, make increases, decreases and yarn overs and work an i-cord edge.

The instructions include free video links that visually demonstrate all the techniques.
Level: Intermediate

Finished Measurements:
72.83” / 185 cm from side to side
22.44” / 57 cm from top to bottom at deepest point.

Needles: US 2.5 (3mm) and US 4 (3.5mm) circular needles in 16” (40cm) and 47” (120cm) length, 3mm crochet hook

Other notions: stitch holders, tapestry needle, scissors, blocking pines or wires

Gauge
Using US 4 / 3.5mm needles, worked flat and after blocking
20 sts and 36 rows = 4” (10 x 10cm) in stockinette pattern
21 sts x 20 rows = 3.34” (8,5cm) width x 2.16” (5,5cm) height in Estonian knitting pattern

Chal Campiña (ES)
El chal Campiña se teje de arriba hacia abajo (top down), con el método de Garter tab. Está compuesto por 4 secciones:
Sección 1: Punto bobo,
Sección 2: Punto fantasía con encaje estonio,
Sección 3: Punto fantasía con flores,
Sección 4: Puntilla y remate con borde i-cord.
Para trabajar este proyecto se necesitan conocimientos sobre montaje de puntos con el método de Garter Tab, tejer puntos del derecho y revés, cambiar de color cortando la hebra, hacer aumentos y disminuciones y cerrar los puntos con borde i-cord.
Todas las técnicas utilizadas tienen explicación con diagramas y vídeos paso a paso.

Tamaño final bloqueado:
Ancho: 185 cm (73”)
Alto: 57 cm (22.4”)

Muestra de tensión:
A p jersey, en plano, y con la muestra bloqueada
20 p x 36 v = 10 x 10 cm
A p fantasía con encaje estonio, en plano, y con la muestra bloqueada
21 p x 20 v = 8,5 cm de ancho x 5,5 cm de alto

Agujas: agujas circulares de 3 mm y 3.5 mm, con cable de 40 y 120 cm y Ganchillo 3 mm

Otros: marcadores, metro, plancha y pines de bloqueo, aguja lanera y tijeras.
