Chalisa Shawl
*** ERRATA: correcting the stitch counting:
After 10 rows of Chart 1 set (two sides + central panel) = 49 sts
After 78 rows of Chart 2 set (two sides + center panel) = 205 sts
After 16 rows of Chart 3 set (two sides + central panel) = 237 sts
After 32 rows of Chart 4 set (two sides + central panel) = 269 sts
After 30 rows of Chart 5 set (two sides + central panel) = 329 sts.
ERRATA: PDF fixed at Sept 14/ 2012
Chalissa had an error at the Center Chart 1 = instead of the YO increase at the beginning and ending of the rows 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 the correct increase are Kfb (knit the stitch front and back). And there was also 2 extra stitches at the rows.
So sorry! I sincerely hope that you have not been inconvenienced by this problem with the chart.
Chalisa is a versatile accessory that can be dressed as a shawl or as a kerchief scarf.
Chalisa Shawl is worked top-down and back and forth over three sections (one triangle, one center panel and one triangle) with five charts of lace patterning. Both triangles are equal, so the same chart is worked at both triangles.
Stitch instructions are both charted and written to make your knitting experience more relaxing and pleasant. Stitch counts are available to keep on track.
