this hat matches the Chamonix Lace socks. For this piece I replaced the fine- weight yarn used for the socks with a DK weight yarn in the same fiber blend. I also replaced the yarnovers used in the sock pattern to M1s, which have the same look but make a smaller hole. the better to keep your head warm!

This worked in the round, without seams.
