Charlbury Blanket
This super easy DK blanket knitting pattern is perfect for new knitters.
Simple knit and purl patterns are placed in block stripes across the blanket and surrounded by a simple garter stitch border. If you can cast on, knit, purl and cast off you will be able to knit this blanket.
This easy to read knitting pattern has separate detailed row-by-row instructions for each blanket to make this pattern a relaxing knit for you.
The blanket shown here is the little square baby blanket, knitted with Debbie Bliss Rialto DK.
Choose this yarn or any other DK (US Light Worsted) yarn that knits to the same tension listed below. Merino / acrylic or cotton can be used.
Other recommended merino yarns are Sublime Extra Fine Merino DK and Valley Yarns Superwash Merino DK

You will need:
4.00mm (US6) fixed circular needle
(The baby blankets can be worked on a pair of 40cm long single pointed needles if preferred)
