Charlotte in Sochi
As soon as I saw the colorful jackets from the official Outfit of the German Olympic Team for Sochi 2014, I knew that I needed a Cardigan in THAT Colors. And I thought, you like it too :-)
The cardigan is completely seamless, knitted from top-down using the contiguous sleeve method developed by Susie Myers, (“SusieM” on Ravelry).
Circumfences:
Bust/Hip - 73 / 77 / 89 / 97 / 107 cm (29 / 30 / 35 / 38 / 42”)
Bottom - 81 / 87 / 99 / 107 / 117 cm (32 / 34 / 39 / 42 / 46”)
Negative ease ~2,5 cm (1”)
Yarn: when using sock yarn please use the yarn doublestranded.
And please note, that your yarn amount (yardage) will be doubled too.
You will need:
color A - yellow - 290 (365/140/495/565) yds
color B - white - 105 (130/150/175/200) yds
color C - green - 355 (425/485/575/655) yds
color D - blue - 355 (425/485/574/655) yds
of Wollmeise DK or (with the twice amount )
Tausendschön Sockenwolle (sock yarn), yarn held
doubled or any other yarn with the same or similar gauge
Pictures are shown in Size S and “Tausendschön Handgefärbte Sockenwolle”, yarn held doubled.
I’m working on a German pattern, please be a bit patient :-)
