The Chasing Buffaloes Scarf uses an innovative technique that creates large graphic motifs while working an easy to memorize, small pattern repeat across each row. It feels like magic as small diamonds and eye-popping large diamonds simultaneously emerge!

The motifs on this scarf feature cables in two colours that weave together. Follow a cable from its start; it travels either to the left or right. When it reaches the motif edge, it turns to travel in the opposite direction. Bold diamond motifs form where cables of one colour cluster together.

This is an example of Two-Pass Woven Knitting in two colours. You will be introduced to the Design Element (DE). Learn this technique with the Chasing Buffaloes Tutorials. Practice with the Chasing Buffaloes Hat or Cowl.
