Chasing Chains Beanie
This pattern creates a warm beanie using worsted weight yarn and a size J crochet hook. The simple stitches create the raised chain stripes that spiral around the hat. An oblong wooden tag or two decorative buttons are sewn on the tab of the beanie’s brim. Lion Brand Heartland works well for this hat, but any worsted weight yarn will do.
The finished beanie will measure approximately 8 inches from the top of the hat to the edge. The hat should fit a head circumference between 19” and 23”.
