This chunky drop shoulder sweater is knitted from the top down to avoid the need for any seaming. Knitted in stocking stitch, in a simple stripe pattern, it’s a quick and easy knit that will become a firm favourite.

This sweater is worked from the back shoulders, to the bottom of the armholes, then the fronts are picked up from the shoulders and knitted down, with the back being joined at the armholes. The body is knitted to the ribbing which is worked in half twisted rib.The sleeves are then picked up from the armholes edge and knitted in the round to a half twisted rib cuff. Finally the neckband is picked up and worked in half twisted rib.

The length of both the body and sleeves are customisable, however, if extra length is added, more yarn may be needed.
