Knit this accessory checkerboard pattern cowl from the Rowan Ambassador’s Amore Online Collection. Designed by Sarah Woodhouse, using one ball of Rowan Kidsilk Amore, a multi strand chain construction yarn (mohair, silk, polyester and nylon.)

I designed this pattern for one ball of Rowan’s Kidsilk Amore, a luxury yarn which has since been discontinued. The pattern is still listed in Rowan’s library but is no longer available to download from them as it’s been removed from their website. I’ve been contacted to ask if the pattern is still available, so it’s now uploaded here for anyone who can still find Kidsilk Amore or if you just like the cowl anyway!

This pattern requires exactly one ball of yarn to complete and does not allow for any extra used for checking gauge.
