Checkered Hat
by Jane Davis
From the description: This basic stockinette stitch hat with a rolled edge is a great project for trying this technique. Here you slide a bead in front of every other stitch along the row. Try it in simple black and white, as shown in the book, or in bold colors, changing beads and yarn colors with each row.
Note: Hat is worked flat and then sewn together.
Skill level: Intermediate
Finished measurements:
- From bottom to top (after stitching the rolled cuff in place) to center top: 9” / 23cm
- Circumference: 22” / 56cm
Additional materials:
- 228 size 5 triangle beads large enough to string onto the yarn
