DESCRIPTION
I designed this reversible beanie (one side is checked and the other side is gingham) with a clean silhouette, as a playful, modern, but classical pop of pattern.

Finished Circumference: 16 (20) inches / 41 (51) cm
Finished Height: 9 (10) inches/ 23 (25) cm
CONSTRUCTION
The outside gingham beanie is knit from the crown up, increasing stitches, then the beanie rim is knit with one round of purl stitches, then switching to the inside checkered beanie, knit from the rim up, then decreasing at the crown. The outside gingham crown is closed with mattress stitch, then the outside is folded into the inside checkered section and kitchener stitched, sewing into the crown of the gingham section.
YARN
MAIN COLOR (MC): ½ (1) skein of Wild Violet Fiber 100% superwash merino wool.
Each skein is 437 yards/100 grams; approximately 192 (306) yards required. We used Seashell Pink.
CONTRAST COLOR (CC): ½ (1) skein of Wild Violet Fiber, 100% superwash merino wool. Each skein is 437 yards/ 100 grams; approximately 174 (297) yards required. We used Kiss from a Rose.
