Hats are one of my favorite items to knit and design. I wanted to create a series of hats to release in December. I ended up with five hat designs. I realized there were 5 Mondays in December and my release schedule was set.

Cherry Tart is the second in the series. It is worked from the brim up in a delicious color of Madelinetosh Tosh DK. A deep, foldable ribbing is perfect for extra ear warmth. The lace pattern ( trust me, it’s a simple one) adds a decorative touch without sacrificing warmth.
