Cheshire Cat is a light weight scarf worked sideways, livened with mini tassels and faux seams and designed to use leftovers of any solid, multicolour or tweedy yarns.
The scarf features a skinny triangular shaping and is worked in six different sections that knits up instantly!
Finished measurements: 92½ inches/235 cm length (from CO to BO), 10½ inches/27 cm width (at the deepest point).
Materials:
♡ approx. CA: 190 yards/175 m; CB: 190 yards/175 m of sport/light DK weight yarn.
Sample shown in Rowan Felted Tweed DK (50% merino, 25% alpaca, 25% rayon; 191 yards/175 m per 50 gr); CA: Maritime (1 skein), CB: Treacle (1 skein).
♡ US 7/4.5mm straight or short circular needles or different size to obtain gauge.
♡ waste yarn (for lifelines).
♡ darning needle.
Gauge (after blocking):
19 sts and 22 rows= 4 inches/10 cm in stockinette/stocking stitch.
Gauge is not critical, but determines the finished size.
Skill level: easy.
