Chesna
My goal for this pattern was to create a soft and squishy cowl with a simple construction. I wanted the cowl to have a bit of bulk so I knew DK weight yarn was the way to go. Chesna is a Slavic name meaning “peaceful”, which perfectly encompasses the feeling you get both knitting and wearing this cozy cowl!
Materials Needed:
Yarn: 230 yards (210 m) DK or light worsted weight yarn
Needles: US 9 (5.5 mm) needles of desired length
Pattern is worked in the round. Circular needles must be 22” in length or less.
Notions: Row Counter (optional), Stitch Marker, Scissors, Tapestry Needle for finishing

18 sts & 24 rows = 4” (10 cm) in stockinette stitch before blocking. This is so you can reuse the swatch yarn if needed.
