Cheveron and Cables Skirt
This pattern is now in American terminology, if you would prefer it in UK terminology please feel free to send me a message (please note, although I can changed this pattern to American terminology I have not yet had a chance to get it tech edited or test crocheted, please forgive me if you find small errors or a random dc instead of sc, or tr instead of dc. I will send the new version once it has been edited and tested.)
I also have my version of this pattern available for 18” dolls, so now your girl and her dolly can match. You can find the matching doll pattern listed here.
When I started designing this pattern, I wanted a modest length skirt for my daughter after being frustrated with having to lengthen every skirt or dress purchased from the store.
Please note the image in the magazine shows the skirt shorter than intended, my desired skirt length was to just above the knee.
If less fullness is desired, instead of increasing ever 4th row, try increasing every 6th row.
Skirt can also be lengthened by simply continuing the established pattern.
