These fingerless gloves have been knitted with a chevron pattern to the front and 2 x 2 rib to the palm which gives a really snug fit to the hand.

The chevron is worked using simple increasing and decreasing techniques which brings the glove to a point at the top and bottom giving an extra special design detail, while the 2 rows stripe helps emphasize the design but looks just as good in a solid colour or self striping / space dye yarn.

You can also add extra rows before shaping the thumb for an extra long cuff, great for showing off or keeping tucked up yer sleeves!

I’ve used Rowan Creative Focus in 2 colours but any aran / worsted weight yarn will work just as well. Try plying up finer yarns for a tweed effect, but remember to check your tension before casting on.

You will need:
2 x colours of aran / worsted weight yarn (approx 60m of each colour)
1 x 4 mm and 5 mm needles
Sewing up needle and scissors
