This 2 color “scarf” pattern inspired me to make a Christmas home décor and accessories collection in a symbolic red green combination. Using this multiplying chevron color block, you can make many things, from the pocket to the blanket. Here you have a few suggestions for this very attractive and usable design, not so difficult. You can make several Christmas gifts at the last minute. I gave a lot of photos and video links for important stitches. Pattern(s) is written, in English (no chart).

You need: 

1. Skills - basic / intermediate knitting knowledge;
2. Yarns - 2 different color balls
a) for phone (hooks, glasses…) cover and kitchen wall hanging pocket - DK weight cotton (100-125m/50gr) or woolen yarn, for mittens and scarf (125-142m/50gr), tightly stranded, in red-green or in your favorite color combination; the amount of yarns depends on the purpose, but I believe that you have enough leftover (only for classic scarf you need 2 balls of 280m/100gr from each color).
b) For pillow cover - aran weight woolen yarn, tightly stranded; I used 1½ balls of red, 120m/100gr and 1 ball of green, 166m/100gr.
3. Needles: circular or straight or DPN’s
a) for mittens: teens and women’s size– 2,5-3mm / US 1,5-2,5; men’s size – 3,5mm / US 4;
b) for phone cover – 3.5mm/US 4;
c) for kitchen wall hanging pocket – 3-3.5mm / US 2,5-4;
d) for scarf – 4.5mm/US 7;
e) for pillow cover – 8mm / US 11;
+ tapestry needle(s) for sewing (joining the sides) and weaving in ends;
4. Stitche markers: 2-6 pcs;
5. Sew-on metal or plastic snap fasteners for buttoning ( 1-7 pcs for covers);
