A snuggly, slouchy ankle sock with a cute ‘pineapple cluster stitch’ pattern, perfect for wearing around the home. Like their namesake cocktail, Chi Chi Socks pack a big punch of ‘flavours’ with the rich blues, warm orange and pretty purples of ‘Malvin’ a stunning space-dyed shade of Manos del Alegria sock yarn.

One size, to fit average woman’s foot, 18.5cm/7¼” foot
& leg circumference, adjustable length
MATERIALS
Manos del Uruguay ALEGRIA (75% Superwash Merino,
25% Polyamide), 405m/445 yds per 100g/3.5 oz skein
1 skein (shown in A7105 Malvin)
2.5mm set of 4 or 5 DPNs or preferred sock knitting
needle (e.g. short circular, or longer circular for magic
loop method)
3 stitch markers
Tapestry needle
TENSION
34 sts and 42 rnds in Stocking Stitch = 10cm/4” after
blocking
PATTERN NOTES
These socks are worked in the round from the cuff down and have a rolled edge to create the slouchy effect and a heel flap with a turn and gusset.
The stitch pattern is created by the colours in
the yarn – and this is explained fully in the pattern instructions.
The pattern includes links to online video tutorials to help with the knitting techniques.
