Yarn Brown Sheep Company Lamb’s Pride Bulky (85% wool, 15% mohair; 125 yd 114 m/113 g): #M-166 plum smoke (MC), 5 skeins; #M-28 chianti (CC1), 4 skeins; #VM-255 rosy velvet (CC2), 1 skein.

Needles Size 17 (12 mm) 32” circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Markers (m); stitch holder; tapestry needle; 12” purse zipper; JUL Mountain Explorer bag handle; sewing needle; invisible thread; contrast color basting thread.

Gauge 8 sts and 12 rows = 4” (before felting) in St st using 2 strands held tog.
