Who wouldn’t love a cabled cardigan with a drapy and light fabric. This cabled cardigan is seamlessly constructed from top-down with relatively large needles to give nice drape for the cabled fabric. You have to be able to read charts for this pattern.

Cardigan is intended to be worn with a small amount of positive ease around the bust. Finished bust measurements approx. 31.5(35.5, 39.5, 43.5, 47.25, 51.2, 55)“/80(90, 100, 110, 120, 130, 140) cm. To fit bust sizes: 30(34, 38, 42, 46, 50, 54)”/75 (85, 95, 105, 115, 125, 135) cm.
The sample shown is size S, worn on approx. 34”/85 cm bust with approx. 2/5 cm positive ease.
GAUGE:
24 sts and 30 rows = 4” 10 cm in Stockinette stitch.
32 sts and 30 rows = 4” 10 cm in cable pattern
Row gauge isn’t the most important thing with this pattern since all measurements are given in length, too.

Yarn:
Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light (100 % merino wool, 115g/420 yds/384 m), You need approx.: 4(4, 5, 5, 6, 6, 7) skeins or 1465(1600, 1880, 2050, 2235, 2450, 2625) yds/1340(1460, 1715, 1870, 2050, 2240, 2400) m.
The sample was knitted in size S with the colorway dust bowl.
Needles:
US 6 (4 mm) 32”/80 cm circular needle.
US 4 (3,5 mm) 32”/80 cm circular needle.
Circular needle or dpn:s for knitting the sleeves in the round. Adjust the needle size to get the correct gauge.
Other:
Cable needle, tapestry needle, stitch markers.
