THIS LISTING IS FOR THE PDF PATTERN ONLY. NOT THE FINISHED ITEM
PATTERN IS WRITTEN IN ENGLISH
Materials
All weights are approximate and will vary depending on the brand of yarn you choose and how tightly you crochet.
For this wreath I used Stylecraft special Aran but any Aran/4 medium weight worsted will work for this pattern.
Aran white (wreath cover, beard and hat) 150g
Aran Yellow 40g (chick)
Aran orange scrap amount (beak)
Aran Parchment 15g (nose)
Small amount of Toy stuffing for your gnomes nose
20cm/8inches polystyrene wreath.
14mm safety eyes.
If you struggle to find an 8 inch wreath ring you can use a slightly bigger size.
You may need to work a few more increases for the hat but I will include instructions for that.
Useful items
Stitch markers
Stitch counter
Darning needle
Hooks required
3.5mm
This pattern uses US terms and is worked in a spiral so using stitch markers is highly recommended

The finished Gonk wreath, will measure approximately
20 inches/50cm in height.
11 inches/28cm in width.
This will of course vary with weights of yarn and hook/tension.
I used a 20cm/8.5inches wreath ring but you could use a different sizes.

It is written in US terms but easy to convert to UK.
The pattern is 15 pages long and contains both written and picture instructions.
