Wait what??? Does this toy lay eggs??? Yes she does! Make your own Chicken Chick and she can store up to two plastic eggs with her Chickies in them! What a riot and fun for kids and adults of all ages. These are also great for storing bath bombs or cotton balls!

Chicken Chicks and their Chickies need love too! What a riot these girls are! Dress them up in fancy colors or let them go natural, it’s up to you! Don’t forget their eggs where you can safely store the little ones!

Materials Needed:
Yarn: Worsted weight in main color for chicken chick, 150 yards. Small amount of red and yellow for beak/comb. You may use ‘fur’ yarn for chickies rather than the loop stitch included in this pattern. Use regular sc stitches, one strand ‘fur’ yarn and one strand worsted weight. Brush when done.
Eyes: 12mm safety eyes for adults, small black beads for chickies (or you may use French knots).
Stuffing: Poly-fil (I used Poly-fil brand crafters choice dry polyester packing fiber fill).
Hook: Susan Bates (F) 3.75mm or similar.
Wire cat brush for chickies.
