Chickens
This pattern specifies yarn quantities in ounces, not yards. Peaches & Creme yarn normally is 122 yards in a 2.5-ounce ball, or nearly 49 yards per ounce. Thus, 74 yards / 68 meters of the main color for either chicken.
The facing-head-on chicken: 6.5” x 7.5”/16.5 cm x 19 cm
The chicken-in-profile: 7.25” x 7.25”/18.5 cm x 18.5 cm
The pattern specifies 1.5 ounces of yarn for either chicken, plus small amounts of Red #95, Sunburst #11, and Black #2. Also, a tapestry needle.
F hook or hook size needed to obtain gauge.
Gauge: 9 sc = 2”/5 cm; 9 sc rows = 2”/5 cm
