Chicory
Chicory was inspired by a vintage sweater design. The straight silhouette and rolled hems make this a casual wear-everywhere piece, with just a touch of patterning along the raglan shoulder lines to keep it interesting.

NOTES
Much has been written about the fact that traditional raglan shaping—in which you increase along the raglan “seams” every other round, on both the sleeves and the body—doesn’t always fit or flatter every body type. This sweater has different rates of increase on the sleeves vs. the body, which means you have to pay a bit more attention while knitting it, but results in a more natural fit. However, if you’re feeling adventurous and want to customize your fit even further, this pattern is easily adaptable to use compound raglan shaping, since the increases happen independently of the stitch pattern along the raglan seams.
You may find these illustrations helpful in visualizing the stitches used in the raglan panel (“Left Stitch Pass Through Right Stitch” and “Right Stitch Pass Through Left Stitch”). Note, however, that the illustrations are worked over 2 sts while in the Chicory panel they’re worked over 3 sts.
ERRATA
Collar should say: “… pick up and knit 110 (116, 122, 126) (132, 138, 142, 148) sts evenly around neckline.”
On the schematic, neck circumference should be:
21 (22, 23, 24) (25, 26, 27, 28) in / 53.5 (56, 58.5, 61) (63.5, 66, 68.5, 71) cm
