Chilcoot Shawl
The lacework on this shawl reminds me of the sun coming through the trees. The colors remind me of the sky as the sun sets in the forest. This shawl is worked in crescent shape from the top-down with an I-cord finish. It incorporates a simple slipped stitch pattern and lace work.
Materials:
US 6 (4 mm) in 40”/101.5 cm or longer.
Gauge: 25 sts x 34 rows = 4”/10 cm with US 6 (4mm) in stockinette st with MC
Gauge is not critical, however, it will affect the yardage and finished size of the shawl.
Finished size: 105” x 72” x 15 (depth at deepest point)” / 267cm x 183cm x 38cm

MC: 500 yards/457 meters
CC: 400 yards/366 meters

MC: Tess’ Designer Yarns. (Lace (0); 100% Superwash Merino Wool; 50g; 500 yards/457 meters). 1 skein. Color used: Chocolate colors.
CC: Life in the Longgrass. (Sock 1-ply (1); 100% Superwash Merino Wool; 100g; 400 yards/366 meters). 1 skein. Color used: Cacao.
