As well as a pair of 5 mm and 6.5 mm needles, this pattern needs sets of circular needles of the same sizes (5 mm and 6.5 mm). These circular needles are used for the main part, where the back and two front halves are knit as one piece. They are also used for the circular yoke.

The front bands are crocheted.
