Requires 4 (5): 1 ounce hanks each of red and mid blue, 1: 2 ounce hank of white, 1: 1 ounce each of royal blue and yellow.
The pattern says that 2 mm = US size 2 needle and 2.25mm = US size 4 needle. Swatching is necessary.
The sweater is worked back and forth in stranded knitting from front edge to front edge, divided at the armholes, three-needle bind off at shoulders. The sleeve stitches are then picked up and worked in the round from armhole to wrist. Neck and button band stitches are then picked up and worked.
