From the book, “Whimsical wooly sheep graze along the ends of heathery wool scarf with seed stitch borders.”

Yarn needed: Pattern calls for 2 skeins of main color, and one skein each in 3 other colors. Yardage is estimated.

An editor’s personal note:
Great basic scarf pattern - easy to modify picture if you want. To make the image reversible, follow the intarsia pattern backwards, doubled the length of garter stitch along the bottom, then followed the scarf pattern (minus the garter stitch which you’ve already done). Do the same on the end of the scarf in reverse order. You will then have mirror images at the ends. Fold the mirror images back-to-back and sew up the sides and along the “top”.
