6 in. (15 cm) piece of cardboard (for tassels)

Special stitch: K2, P2 Rib

Work in stockinette stitch on larger needles until piece measures about 31 inches (78.5 cm) from beginning.

Work edging on smaller needles in K2 P2 Rib.

Make 6 stars on smaller needles. Make 4 tassels.

Seam mitered corners of borders. Sew 3 Stars evenly spaced across lower and top edges of Afghan. Sew a Tassel to each corner of Afghan. Weave in ends to finish.
